Could you get a second-hand one? Most baby stuff is barely used!

I wouldn't personally as its such a lot of money for something that can be only used up to 9kg which is approximately 19lb. There's also absolutely no garuntee that baby will like it so its a lot to gamble on a maybe.

If you want to buy it I would recommend looking for a second hand one. They will probably be almost brand new with jow quickly it will have been grown out of.

Not worth it. You just want a Z-frame one. I would buy this one:

www.argos.co.uk/product/4562252

Why?
(1) Better to be able to control the tempo of movement yourself.
(2) Better to be able to gradually slow down the bouncing at a pace that suits baby that day, rather than the motion being with on or off
(3) You can park yourself on the sofa with a cuppa and bounce a Z-frame with your foot. You can't do that as easily with a rocker chair.
(4) You can remove the play arch and switch the vibrate off (both pointless features imo)
(5) You can reverse the direction of the top piece of the z-frame on this model, so when older make it more upright and less reclined
(6) its easy to pick up with baby in it to move upstairs, into kitchen while cooking, into bathroom while showering etc.

£150 and only up to 9kg? No way. Granted, I had big babies, but both of mine would have outgrown that before six weeks.
