Hi ladies

This has been really bugging me, so atm I don’t know what I’m having but my fil passed away a year ago and my husband is very keen to use his name for the baby if it’s a boy, he’s basically saying if it’s a girl I can pick if it’s a boy it will be his dads name.. thing is the name is a very old Indian name and it isn’t something I would be happy on it’s nothing against my late fil.. just that the name isn’t something I would choose I agreed on a middle name which was his nickname everyone used but now it’s been blown into this it will be my dads name and that’s it

Hi all,

My husband and I are expecting baby number 2 and can't decide on a boy's name. We don't know the sex of the baby yet but want to make sure we have settled on a name before baby arrives. We have always loved the name 'Seth' and also like the name 'Luca'. We live in France and my husband's family is French/British. We think Luca is more common and will be more easily received and pronounced in French. Seth is less common and will be pronounced as 'Set' in French...which sounds kinda cool but can sound like the number 7 'Sept'. We don't really mind that though. We need some help from the Mumsnet mummies on which name to go for because we just can't decide! Please help! Sister's name is Sienna 🙂
