Snuzpod

Hi everyone, just a wee bit of advice please. We're really liking the idea of getting a snuz pod. Would anyone recommend this firstly? Another question is, would this be practical to move from bedroom to living room when needed for baby to sleep. We live in a flat and currently don't feel the need for snuzpod pod plus a moses basket or something similar in such a small space with all rooms on one floor. Probably just bouncer/play mat in living room. Thanks for any advice. X

Yes and yes. Really loved mine, easy to move the top part from room to room.

Snuzpod is fantastic! We haven't moved it, we used a rocker in the living room.. It had 3 reclining positions, flat one for sleep and others for play/awake time

@Scottishflower We’ve bought a Snuzpod for the same reason - our bedroom and livingroom are both downstairs and seemed silly having multiple things in rooms next to each other 😊 Haven’t used it yet as our little one is due in a couple of months but I know the whole top can just lift off the Snuzpod to use as a Moses basket too so that what we’re planning on taking to the livingroom 😊

I definitely recommend a bedside crib, whether you get a Snuzpod or a different one.

I have a Snuzpod 2 (bought in 2016 for DC1) and it is heavy and cumbersome to move around; I believe the most recent model - Snuzpod 3? - is lighter but it's still made of wood so it's going to be pretty heavy. I would advise you to compare it to other bedside cribs to compare weights and consider the portability factor.

If buying again I would probably get the Tutti Bambini Cozee bedside crib because it can easily be folded up and transported so you can use it as a travel crib too, I assume it must be reasonably light so it could be moved around the home easily.

As you have a flat you could consider a crib that has wheels maybe? Would be very easy to move around, then!

@Scottishflower my plan is to move Snuzpod if need be (also in a flat). Are you living in Scotland? I recently got my baby box from the government that comes with a mattress so you can use for sleeping too.

I have a Snuzpod 3, it'll be very easy to move around in a flat - you won't need anything in edition to it. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and have had to move it around a lot due to redecorating and it's very easy to get move - and I'm not strong!
