Braxton Hicks or baby?

This is a random question but: I'm 20+4. Last week or so I'm feeling what I think the is the baby move, though I have an anterior placenta so it's not really clear yet - and only when I'm lying quietly.

Anyway, the last two nights I've been lying in bed propped up on pillows and my stomach has suddenly really popped out but just on the front left side? It goes super hard and tight, and I can physically see a difference in what it looks like, though the right front side feels normal. It goes away after a minute or two, and hasn't happened other than those two times. Is that BH or the baby pushing out (would it be big enough to at this point!?)

I'm not worried of BH - I have heard they are normal - but curious to know others experiences / thoughts!

I've been having the exact same feeling and wondering whether it's Braxton Hicks. I'm 22 weeks tomorrow, also have an anterior placenta and mainly feel movement/kicks very low down. I've had the occasional time when my lower abdomen has really tensed up over the last couple of weeks but noticed it happening much more frequently in the last couple of days. I'm a FTM and hadn't realised you could get Braxton Hicks in your second trimester so had just put it down to baby moving. But it really does go rock solid for a couple of minutes and then goes back to normal.

It sounds like the baby. I wondered this at 20 weeks but now at 29 weeks I can really tell what part of him it is. Usually if he sticks his bum out my bump goes tight and I can feel it, he then flips and I can see much smaller bumps (at the same time as I can feel kicks).
