Daft question but I'm 26 weeks pregnant and without thinking have just cut up a couple of large planks of wood to make shelves for my son's bedroom (gone into nest overdrive)

I'm now worried that the jiggling vibrations from the jigsaw could cause premature labour - could this happen or am I being a hypochondriac? Help! 😩

That's physically impossible, OP. Baby will have heard some noise but it will have been muffled by your body and the amniotic fluid. As long as you are using appropriate safety equipment to protect yourself there is nothing to worry about Smile

No you should be fine. In my last pregnancy I used quite a few tools when helping DH renovate one of his properties.
I wouldn't bother attempting to lift anything too heavy though

If you are still worried, just keep an eye on how you feel x
