Are nappy bins worth it?

Not the biggest question of the day, but would be interested in hearing people's recommendations re. whether it's worth bothering buying a nappy bin.

Absolute waste of money. I know environmentalists won’t agree but scented nappy sacks and straight in the bin is the way I have done it with both my dc.

Forgot to mention over night I would just take the little pile of tied up nappies down with me and put in bin. To be honest the night time changes don’t last long either as you’re always best to avoid these unless they poo.

Complete waste of time money and resources. Its just a case of having something for the sake of it. Just put the dirty nappy outside in the bin.

I just always popped any used nappies straight into the outside bin. It only took a minute to do and made sure that the smell went out of the house.

If you have an outdoor bin in easy reach it's probably not worth it IMO. If you're in a flat or somewhere where popping outside to the bin is a bit of a faff then it might be a good idea. They'll still smell a bit though.

Not essential but I also have 2 for upstairs and downstairs, depends on your set up our wheelie bin is a pita to get to so they make life easier. They don’t stink.

Maybe if you live in a flat and the outdoor bin is a trek. Not if you can easily take the nappies outside. The cartridges use a lot of plastic.
