I'm 36 weeks tomorrow I'm so DONE I want this baby out now, I'm literally at my wits end. The bottom of my back is SO painful going into my bum and my Virginia lips are throbbing.

Please any ideas

36 weeks is still pretty early. Trust me, I feel your pain, but it's best for baby to be in there til its fully baked. All you can do is try alleviate the aches and pains. I found baths worked well, as did bouncing on a birth ball. Other than that, it's just trying to focus on the end date. You have my sympathy.

I know it’s hard towards the end (I have three, all overdue, in fact my third was 2 weeks late!), but at this stage you don’t want to be wishing the baby out. Baby’s lungs aren’t fully developed yet, an there is a chance of breathing difficulties at birth at that gestation. The longer the baby is in there the better!
I sympathise as it must be awful in this heat (I had my second in a heatwave and spent a week before she was born sleeping upright on the sofa overnight with my feet in a bucket of ice and a fan blowing in my face!).
Rest as much as possible and have a cool bath/shower if that helps.

I really wouldn’t encourage your baby to come out at 36 weeks, your baby is still classed as premature. The last part of pregnancy is rough but you literally could have another 5 weeks left before your baby decides it’s time. Plus none of the old wives tales really work, your baby will come when it’s good and ready and hopefully cooked a little while longer!

Talk to midwife. Don't do anything dangerous like castor oil this early like some people may about to recommend.
