I'm 16+1 with my first and have had morning sickness since around 6 weeks, but it got really bad at 9 weeks. The nausea still hasn't gone away but I was diagnosed with hyperemesis at 10+4 and given meds to stop vomiting, which has helped incredibly (only vomited once since then).
All I can do is share my morning sickness journey, so sorry in advance for the long post!
At 6 weeks I would say my appetite went as I suddenly became really sensitive to smells. Stopped eating a lot of foods and could only eat certain things if I really fancied them.
Then at about 7 weeks I vomited one morning, and that week vomited every other day, only in the mornings. I still had nausea all day and couldn't eat much because I didn't fancy anything.
At 8 weeks I vomited once a day and nausea got worse, I started spending days in bed because I couldn't move due to nausea.
At 9 weeks I started vomiting multiple times a day (from 2 to 6 "sessions" of continuous vomiting, usually lasting 5-ish mins each) and had to lie down flat in bed more frequently to abate the nausea.
At 10 weeks I started vomiting spontaneously without being able to get to the bathroom and spent 3 days in bed unable to move, eat or drink. Got admitted to hospital with dehydration due to hyperemesis and put on a drip and IV anti-sickness overnight. Hospital prescribed me 3 different types of anti sickness medication to take home and GP has continued to prescribe them all for me - thank God!
As I said, I have only vomited once since starting the medication and it has been around 5 weeks now. I still feel nausea if I don't take them, but I am able to eat and drink mostly normally now.
Of course this is only my experience, and yours may be completely different. I don't want to scare you with tales of woe, but do go to the GP and get anti-sickness if it starts affecting your day-to-day life!
