Morning everyone,

Slightly concerned...
I woke up this morning with nausea, got up went to the bathroom then I collapsed, hit my head, grazed my knees and my partner found me (must of all happened within 20seconds). I also vomited after a little and there was a little blood...

Has anyone experienced this? I am starting a new job today and so worried about going incase something happens while I am there 😪 x

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hope you're feeling better now. How far along are you?

Sophierella24 · 05/08/2020 08:24

@GoshHashana thank you, I feel quite teary but the nausea seems to have gone for now...I'm only 6 weeks, I am going to mention it to my GP just to be on the safe side x

You poor thing - hope you’re feeling better now.

Around 6 weeks is a common time for symptoms to start, and dizziness / loss of balance / nausea are all fairly common ones. But I think it’s very sensible to speak to your GP as you hit your head - it’s always worth getting a potential head injury looked after.

Oh dear, its not nice to experience at all
I am now 29 weeks and at my last visit to the midwife, threw up and swiftly fainted. I was thankfully already sat on a hospital bed so I think the midwife just made sure I didn't actually fall off
I am one of the unlucky ones that, even now nausea/sickness/feeling lightheaded is still going strong. I really hope for you this is just a short phase in your pregnancy and yes, visit GP. They may be able to give you something which is safe to take in pregnancy x
