Moses basket or not?

I'm finishing up my baby purchases this week. Would you go for a Moses basket or not? This would be for downstairs use only as I have a Next to Me upstairs.

I had a Moses down stairs and a snuz pod for upstairs, really appreciated not having to carry them up/down

Never used one, but we did use the top of the pram as a sleeping space in the house.

We did because my mil bought a quite expensive one specifically for downstairs. The pram carrycot would have worked just has well.

Buggy was what we used downstairs - only place she’s ever napped anyway. It’s got the bonus of being easily jiggled with a foot while you read/drink tea/fold washing etc.

I had one for my first and it was used maybe 3 times. Didn't bother for 2nd and it wasn't missed.

I had a poddle pod and baby swing for downstairs, the poodle pod was used when baby agreed to be put down but he mostly napped on me, either on the breastfeeding pillow or in a sling.

Used a Moses all the time downstairs, well worth the twenty odd pounds it cost.

I used one but for night time for over 7 months.

Our plan was no Moses basket and to just use the pram.
Worked for us in that she refused to ever go in the pram so I’m glad we didn’t waste money on a Moses basket!
We did however end up buying an electric swing seat which saved our sanity. She was a v refluxy baby which meant that she only liked to be upright (awake or asleep) so she was always either in the sling or the swing.

I would say wait and see what works for your baby in terms of daytime naps. Obviously overnight it has to be a cot (or next to me etc) but there is a bit more flexibility in daytime (or supervised) sleep which means you can cater to your baby’s needs more individually.
