Hi all,

I am just wondering if any of you have been in a similar situation to me. I'm 34 +3 and had what I think was a show yesterday. I rang triage and she confirmed it probably was but said just to keep an eye and I could still get to 40 weeks. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this early on and when you went into labour.

Thanks all!

I had a show at 35 weeks with one of mine. Lost quite a bit. Went to a and é. I was having contractions. They put me on a drip to stop the labour. She was born by elec C at 39 weeks

My show was a significant amount of blood and discharge (plug)

I found in the last few week of pregnancy it was very wet down there. Hormones discharge etc

I spoke to midwife today and she said that there will be an increase in discharge in last few weeks even if you've not had much so far yet. Also said the show doesn't necessarily mean that labour will start. It hasn't for me, but I was getting some stronger Braxton–Hicks yesterday.
