Where can I find maternity/nursing clothes that are for smaller busts?

Everything gapes terribly! Sadly not all of us were blessed with large breasts and mine don’t grow much in pregnancy either due to hypoplasia/insufficient glandular tissue 😢 DP bought me a nightie and, if I move at all, my boobs fall out as there’s just masses of loose material (fits my bump nicely though) Just want something that actually fits my bump AND my boobs 🤔

The plus side is, you can go back to regular clothes quickly! I have tiny boobs, made even tinier after feeding multiples DCs, and my go-to would be an h&m feeding tank with a t-shirt over, or in the early days I'd recommend a cardigan because when you're getting the hang of breastfeeding it's easier if you can expose the whole area.

You can also buy nursing/maternity bras in smaller cup sizes, and wear a cami under a top so you pull down the cami/pull up the top (or pull a dress down etc)

Seraphine also has nice qualify maternity/nursing clothes that don't assume huge boobs, they're expensive but mine have lasted through 4dcs!

Good tips @Stuckforthefourthtime
I'll be able to go back to normal tops but my bum and thighs grow massively when pregnant (I'm normally slim!) so none of my normal jeans will fit for ages.

I'm going to check out seraphine.
I've already ordered some vest tops from Hennes (I mean H&M - I'll never get used to that name 😂) But I'd love a nightie for hospital. The one DP bought me is strappy and quite low cut with hooks to pull down each side for feeding. But it's so big on top that I'd only have to move slightly and my boobs are free for feeding and for the entire hospital to view 😂
Great tip about putting vest top under nursing top, it'll be winter by then so the extra layers will be useful. Not sure how I'll feel when summer comes around again though! (Hopefully I'll still be feeding then)

Several options here, but I know JoJo isn't cheap. Quality is generally good though:

I got something like this for breastfeeding in hospital. Not exactly glamorous I know.

I had a look at Jojo the other day @Monstamio. I like them but not sure about the small/medium/large sizing. I'll have a look at their sizing guide.
I'm small on top but a good medium waist down.

Hey @PregnantPorcupine that looks good, no chance of gapes there!

I'm a size 12, 32e bust and fit their medium if that helps. I think the tops would be tight on anyone with bigger boobs though, so they should be fine if you are smaller. They tend to come quite high and the strappy ones are adjustable too.

There's also a nightie on sale at frugi at the moment fyi

Frazzlerock · 02/08/2020 12:43

I'm a 12 from the waist down. But boobs never fill a 12 top. The nightie DP bought me is a medium and, as I say, is HUGE on top. If I buy a small it will be too small everywhere else. Ahhh it's a right pain.
I feel like buying a small and a medium and cutting them both in half and sewing the right sizes together! 😂

Good tip re Frugi, I'll take a look now. Thank you!
