Everywhere sells them and prices/quality seen to vary hugely! Can anyone recommend what ones they’ve found to be nice and soft? 😊

@TinySleepThief I’m going to order some GroSnugs so glad to know they’ve been so useful 😊 I picked up some original GroBags for a bargain price in TKMaxx. They say 0-6 months but I think baby has to be quite a bit bigger before they go in those! They definitely don’t look suitable for a newborn anyway but I’m sure they’ll be handy later on 😊 @Hanrora06 I thought that GroSnugs were suitable from lower weights than the bags? They’re a bit more like a swaddle where they hold the arms in etc whereas the GroBags are bigger and have arms that open

@SecondStarFromTheRight Ahh, that’s perfect! It was specially the White Company ones that that I had been looking at. Just wasn’t sure if the price was justified or if there were other hidden gems out there 😊

I got ours from Asda, but ordered online & they're a lot rougher that I was expecting them to be. If I'd been able to go out to shops and hunt around a bit, I probably would have picked them from somewhere else.

I hope you find them as useful as we did. They really were so handy, especially the what to wear guide they came with plus they made the transition to gro bags so easy.

@Hanrora06

Sorry *@Ritchie30* I'm jumping on too!! Thank you for this thread, so useful. I have a question about the bags- what's the difference between a Grobag and a Grosnug? They both say from 5lb. I assume they're just different names for the same product? It seems that The Gro Company and Tommee Tippee are the same company anyway, as it just redirects from the Gro Company to the TT website.
The Grosnug can also be used as a swaddle, with the arms inside. Whereas the Grobag is just an ordinary sleeping bag, with the arms outside.

Abeille cellular blankets are lovely and and I agree that the Clair de Lune ones are good too.

I used Aldi ones in the pram/carrycot for my little November baby, and sleeping bags in his cot. Then when I coslept with him I used them without the grow bag.
Now he's 2.5 and won't keep a duvet on so I chuck them over him overnight.
I found them really useful and the Aldi ones washed incredibly soft.
