Hey ladies I'm 14 weeks and sometimes I feel pressure on my bladder and I'm not really peeing a lot as I am suppose to it's quite hard to explain . I did get a uti test twice which both came back clear so I know it's not an infection. I'm wondering if it's the baby on my bladder due to the fact I have a tilted uterus😩 I have been searching up on google but can't find much answers and I heard some women say they had to put a catheter in because they was not peeing a lot and now I'm over thinking please give me some answers 💕

I have a tilted uterus and did not have that, it did not have any effect at all. As you say you are overthinking.

If you are concerned speak to your midwife or the GP or nurse at your surgery.

I have this as a result of my first pregnancy and labour position has changed. When I went to be scanned at epu and my bladder was full they told me to sit forward (tilted off the loo slightly as its more difficult to empty your bladder) so your not wrong hope the feeling eases it does change the position of everything

I think tilted and retroverted are different not sure though but mine is retroverted they couldn't even see baby through my belly mine is quite bad

I have a retroverted uterus. 12 week scan was near impossible for the sonographer she couldn't measure a thing. Had to go back 3 times for my 20 week scan as they were unable to see clearly due to position of baby and uterus.
Have been consultant led this pregnancy and had fortnightly cervix scans and she always comments how extremley backwards tilting my cervix is.
I am now 28 weeks and only starting getting a bump. It's very small. No need for maternity clothes yet.
I was told by midwife the uterus usually corrects to forward facing by 12 to 14 weeks as it moves up higher. Consultant told me mine was much slower.
The urine issue I was warned about by my consultant, but not until I was over 20 weeks with uterus still retroverted. It is called an incarcerated uterus and basically gets trapped backwards as baby gets bigger. I dont think it would happen as early as 14 weeks as it wasnt mentioned to me until much later. Consultant said it's very uncommon and you would know about it as you would present at a&e in serious discomfort unable to pass any urine. Then can try to manually move uterus and use catheter to drain urine.
I havent experienced that at all. Even with my uterus still retroverted at well over 20 weeks. It sometimes takes me a few attempts to totally empty bladder but as far as I'm aware that's usually in pregnancy. Have you spoke to your midwife? I'm sure she will offer some reassurance or further examination.

I have this.
Usually around 12 weeks when there's more weight in the uterus it tips forward.
Difficulty with weeing can be helped by leaning forward when sat on the loo.
