Sleeping bag or blankets?

Hi all FTM here, just wanting to know what everyone uses for newborns? Do you use a sleeping bag or blankets? Or something else?

Having looked at the Lullaby Trust website I’m swaying towards a sleeping bag - baby is due end of October.

Any suggestions or advice greatly appreciated! Thank you :)

When mine were babies the Grobags sold really well on Ebay once they'd grown out of them so after the first investment I was always getting a good chunk back to put towards the next ones.

@Luckyme30 Definitely worth a look in your local TKMaxx at the moment if you have one. They have a twin pack of 2.5tog 0-6month GroBags for £15! 😮😮 I’ve been to 3 TKMaxx shops over the last few weeks and all had them for the same price. Gender neutral mint and yellow prints.
I picked some up for over the winter and I’m going to have a look at GroSnug for when baby first arrives 😊

Get a room thermometer as well (we have a gro egg) and you can tell straight away what size tog you need for bed Smile

@Ritchie30 thank you very much, I’ll make a trip there at the weekend (any excuse for baby shopping Grin)
