Hi everyone,
I am at 30 weeks and after taking a slight tumble on the stairs, I had an ultrasound. The bub and placenta etc are all good (I'm just bruised and ashamed) but the sonographer says the baby is very large, in the 90th percentile for my size. I'm now due a test for gestational diabetes.
I have been eating a bit more than usual but I didn't think enough to cause anything like that. The midwife commented that it is adjusted to your height and weight and I am a bit of a shorty at 5ft 2 and 60kg (before pregnancy) the rest of my family are very tall 5ft 11 + including the ladies. I'm wondering if anyone has experience in this area of having a very large baby while being quite small yourself? Maybe I am in denial and need to cut down the biscuits....
