Does anyone else literally constantly worry about baby movement every day? If i don't feel something for an hour or so I really get down and panic and try to get him to move, is it normal to feel like this and do other people feel movements constantly? I'm 28 weeks

Totally with you!!! You are not alone! Mine doesn't move all the time, often quite quiet for most of the day but even though I know this, doesn't stop me from worrying!!

I've never felt movements constantly (certainly not every hour) but i found my anxiety was at its worst from about 26-30 weeks.

I started obsessing every day about whether or not there was a pattern yet and had the movements stopped or changed - I even went in for monitoring once at 28 weeks. The reality is, most babies only start forming a pattern after 28 weeks and some never get into a regular pattern at all.

I'm now 34+3 and I've definitely relaxed a bit more this last couple of weeks. Baby still doesn't have an exact pattern and the movements have become more subtle now....like waves or rolls rather than strong kicks but I'm learning what's normal for her and trying not to get so stressed all the time. I know she's got less room in there now and I feel pretty in tune with her tbh. As long as i feel her move regularly throughout the day then I'm happy she's OK, even if it's not exactly the same every day.

You're at the stage now where you should start to see a pattern forming over the next couple of weeks which will hopefully put your mind at rest a bit.
