Cramping at 8 weeks

Hi guys , it's probably nothing but I need some assurance

Last night at work , it was a very stressful shift & I did feel cramping feelings in my stomach. I know some cramp is normal as things are stretching & moving
Normally it disappears after a few minutes

This morning , returning back to work I still have cramp but this feels like period pains - as if I'm about to start my period & it's been constant for about a hour or so

Like I said , it is probably nothing to worry about but I'd love some advice on it

I don't want to be ringing the hospital if it turns out to be nothing

Thanks ☺️

Hey I had cramps around 8, 9, 10,11 and even 12 weeks it seemed every time baby was growing I'd feel some mild discomfort, I remember one night must of been around 9 weeks and I went to bed early with this cramp thinking well I'm going to loose it but then obviously I didn't so I put it down to stretching, some of us feel it more than others, if its on and off and light enough to not need any pain killers I'd say its OK but you can always ask the midewife for their advise if your worried, best if luck Smile

oh I forgot to say rest as much as you can, I read if you rest and it goes off then its fine but if its still there then I'd call someone

I had cramping like this on and off for about the first 11 weeks. Everything is stretching and shifting in there. It’s a cruel trick that the ‘everything is normal’ feelings are the same as the ‘something’s wrong’ feelings, but if you’re not getting any bleeding I’d try not to worry (easier said than done I know Smile)

@Sazzy312 @BuffaloCauliflower thank you ladies.
Sometimes it helps just to hear other people's advice ☺️
