Hi everyone
I'm currently on maternity leave and have found out I'm pregnant again. Me and my partner wanted our children close together (bit sooner than we planned but we're over the moon). By the time my maternity leave is over I will be 7 months pregnant, I'm a bit scared of what work are going think.
Has anyone else returned to work heavily pregnant? How did you employer take it?

I am not heavily pregnant but ended my maternity leave 7 weeks pregnant with my second. Currently 22 weeks and my employer has been really good about it!! Congratulations!!

I came back 6 months pregnant! My employer was fine. They can't say anything.

I went back pregnant again, at the time I did not really pay much attention to what they thought to be honest. I was a teacher and looking back no one said anything but I do not think they were very pleased.

It hasn't happened to me but it I've seen it happen a few times to colleagues. Work were totally fine about it, I'm not sure it makes a huge difference to them whether you're pregnant when you return or get pregnant within 6 months or so of starting back.

Congratulations! How big will your age gap be?

To me I think it's actually easier for them, they can keep on the person they've hired to do your job whilst you were on your first maternity leave!!!

No switching and swapping and having you back for 6 months and then having to retrain or find some one else for to cover your next mat leave.

Don't worry anyway - not your problem! Congratulations.

Thank you for everyone's kind words, that's so reassuring that I shouldn't be worrying what they're going to think.I tend to be a natural born worrier.
