Hello, I've just got back from my 25 week midwife appointment and I'm slightly confused about a comment she made about the positioning of my placenta and wondered if anyone could help me understand.
At my 20 week scan, I was told I had a posterior plecenta. I've just been to see the midwife today and while she was listening for the heartbeat, she said "Oh, your plecenta is all up front" and said it was making it hard to hear the heartbeat clearly.
I was under the impression that having a posterior placenta meant it was all at the back. Am I mistaken? Thank you :)
