Just wondering if anyone has used this and was it accurate for you? Want to give it a try but want some reviews first!

Hi yes I used it and it said boy which was right.:)

I used it at 11 weeks pregnant and it said boy, after scans turns out we are having a girl 🤦🏼‍♀️

I used it at 13 weeks, it was right for me Smile

I did the Clinical Sneak Peak which eliminates the cross contamination that people get from the home kit because they take your blood like they would with a blood test. People doing the home kit get where it's usually wrong get a Boy result because it's cross contaminated with male DNA. I decided to just pay for the Clinic one and it's a quick turnaround, it said boy and it was right(I have growth scans and it's confirmed every time). I waited until 10-11 weeks to make sure it was more accurate.

I did the clinical blood test. I had it done at 5pm on a Monday night and had the results (from California!) at 11pm on Wednesday night. Very quick turnaround. Told me it was a girl and it was correct.

Yes it was wrong, said boy and at scan was a girl. In theory they're fine and as PP went to a clinic I think that will stop contamination. I found it really difficult as it's not just a 'prick' of blood, found it impossible to get it into the tube without it running underneath my fingernail which is probably how it got contaminated. I would say if done at a clinic it would be accurate but otherwise is wouldn't bother with it

There was a massive thread about Sneak Peek on Baby Centre back in 2015. I think in the end the accuracy was about what you'd expect if they were just guessing? One women got a result then later discovered that her blood sample had never left the post office. Things may have changed since then of course, that was 5 years ago. I guess it depends how much it will cost and how you'd feel if it turned out to be wrong (which could happen with an ultrasound too).

I found the home test super easy and fine. If you scrub your hands for 4 mins or so and cut nails beforehand as I did, I can't see the problem. I haveca partner and two male dogs so I was probably covered in male DNA but I just made sure to do it in a separate room and scrub hands and nails with a nail brush.
Well worth the £69 imo

It was right for me! Said boy & very obvious boy bits at 20 weeks. I was very careful not to contaminate it as I have 3 male pets & a husband! Short nails, lots of scrubbing. That meant I was pretty confident in it. It was bloody hard to get enough blood in the tube, though, and it got it all over the bathroom! I got it when it was on offer & it was nice to know for longer. I had a very tough first trimester so things that cheered me up were very welcome!

Oh and if it's wrong they refund you if you provide a copy of your birth certificate.
