Baby naps

Hi, looking for some advice and this may be a really basic, stupid question. Where do / will all your babies nap during the day? I have limited space downstairs and it isn't appropriate to keep going back and forth to the bedroom for naps due to the layout of the house. Is it appropriate for them to sleep in a 'small' bouncer / rocker? Or will a moses basket/similar be best? There are sooo many options that I'm probably over-thinking but just want to consider a range of options

While he was tiny I took the carry cot off his buggy travel system and had that in the living room with me so I could keep a real close eye on him :) and even when he was bigger and I wasn't ready to have him nap upstairs while I was down I had a play mat and I laid him on there :)

My daughter is 13 weeks old and up till now all her daytime naps have been on me. I'm slowly starting to phase out her naps to her crib.

With my first I did naps in a carry cot downstairs on a table.

I used a sleepy head on the sofa (wide L sofa) or the carry cot from the pram.

I had mine in a sling

I alternated between bouncer that swung and vibrated (both DC loved it and happily fell asleep in there) and Moses basket.

Bouncer isn’t really appropriate for long periods of time as their spines should be straight and body not leaning forward to avoid airway occlusion (hence why they’re not recommended to be in a car seat for more than 30mins at a time at the beginning). We have a small living room so I’m thinking to use the carrycot of the pram as the one we have ordered is safe for overnight sleep. If not, I would probably go with a cheap Moses basket and keep on the floor or sofa to save space - you can get second hand ones for £10 on FB and can just get a new mattress maybe if you don’t want to get a new one?

Bouncer is no good for a nap, it’s not great for their backs/hips to be in them too long. My DD napped on my lap, or in her pram, or in the carry cot from her pram (meant I could move her between rooms if I wanted). When she was bigger, I’d stick her on the sofa once she was asleep (it pulled out, so no chance of rolling off) so I could keep an eye on her.
