Labour room spray

Hi all

I'm working through the Positive Birth Company online course and book and they recommend a room spray called Mio yoga room spray... except it's sold out everywhere!

Could anyone recommend a different blend or make of room spray for labour that's safe?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you - that's the bath soak version I think... it shows the spray but the description is just the soak. I'm wondering if it's been discontinued?

Is anyone using aromatherapy oils on a tissue or cloth during labour? If so which ones?

I am doing the positive birth digital pack and have decided to just go with essential oils on a damp flannel like lavender, camomile etc. Apparently sometimes in labour smells you once liked can become unbearable so I don't want to spread it around the room in case I hate it!

Labour suites can usually supply aromatherapy oils.

I’ve got clary sage and lavender for my flannel, as they are supposed to be good for progress - have also got an Evian water spray just for cooling in case I can’t face any smells in the moment!

My NHS trust asks that you don't bring Clary Sage as it can be a risk for any midwives who happen to be pregnant, might be worth bearing that in mind.

I’m doing the PBC course too and have decided on a regular room spray. Got a nice one from the white company as a treat and have been using it at home after cleaning so have been getting used to it. I think this will help me relax in labour as it will be a familiar smell by then!

That’s such a good idea @Havlerr
It will be so nice smelling it afterwards as well. xx

I’m using clary sage, lavender and rosemary :)
