Baby sleep patterns in the womb

Does anyone’s baby in the womb not keep them up at night with movements? Unless I’m a deep sleeper, I don’t feel anything at night with my little man. I’m 31+3 and first baby and just can’t help but be curious as to whether he is in a deep sleep too.

With my daughter she wouldn't move at night and started around 7 in the morning. She had the same sleep pattern after she was born, luckily

@Minkies13 yes I’m hoping little man will do the same haha!

Nope mine didnt, he used to be wide awake in an evening and then wake me up around 6 with hiccups.
DS is currently 16 days old and has the same sleeping pattern!

@BeautyAndTheBump1 mine is exactly the same! Praying they come out with this pattern too!

@Minkies13 yes my last two were the same! Currently 18 weeks with my third and fourth (twins) and although it's very early I still feel nothing at night and sleep all the way through.

@NLW91 mine have been very good sleepers and when other women were 30/35 weeks and complaining of being kicked all night or hardly getting 3 hours rest because of how uncomfortable they were with the baby moving. I was honest to God baffled as with both my last I'd konk out around 9/10 and wake at 7am ish all the way until I have birth. I'd say it's a good omen! But sure someone will be along to wee on our strawberries and say they didn't get disturbed but then had the worst newborn sleeper in history or something 🙄

The only thing that woke me up at night was my bladder. DD was a wonderful sleeper when she was newborn. Not quite as good now, but reading posts on here she could be so much worse!

Sorry to be the one to say it.. I slept all the way through pregnancy with my baby moving loads in the evenings and then after I'd woken up, and she has been a terrible sleeper, probably not the worst in history but some nights it sure felt like it Grin

When I went to bed, my baby would have a wriggle around too as if to get comfy and would then settle for the night. In fact he would have a lie in. Sometimes I would already be at work before he'd give me the first kick of the day.
