Should I worry or phone the midwife?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi OP, hiccups are completely normal so don't fret. My DS used to hiccup loads! It was cute to feel although it was a pain when I was trying to sleep sometimes!

sunlightflower · 20/06/2020 21:49

Totally normal, don't worry.

CrashingCymbals · 20/06/2020 21:49

No, it's really normal! Baby will probably be hiccupy after they're born Smile my daughter was!

Thislittlekitten · 20/06/2020 21:50

I had this with both my children. Was so strange!

DD in particular hiccuped loads! Honestly nothing to worry about.

firsttimemummy11 · 20/06/2020 21:51

Nothing to worry about at all, my little boy used to get it at least twice a day in my belly... he's Absolutly fine now x

DramaAlpaca · 20/06/2020 21:52

Totally normal.

ChelseaCat · 20/06/2020 21:54

Mine got it lots in utero too - is 6 months old and still hiccups constantly!

Dyra · 20/06/2020 21:58

Very normal. My (now) 10 month old is still a frequent hiccuper.

jdy123 · 20/06/2020 22:44

I'm 34 weeks and I usually feel around 3-4 times a day from about 28 weeks. Currently doing it as we speak actually. I told my midwife and she said completely normal 🙂

AnneLovesGilbert · 20/06/2020 22:46

It’s normal Smile

DD was a very frequent and violent hiccuper and she still gets them when she’s been laughing a lot, it’s super cute.

CoodleMoodle · 20/06/2020 22:46

My two both had hiccups a lot when I was pregnant. 6 and 2 now and still do it a lot!

Strangest feeling ever but I miss it. Don't worry though, it's normal.
