So I'm compiling my list of essentials and I've been told I'll need lots of pads for after the birth but which ones would you recommend??

The boots own brand are decent enough

Fingerscrossed11 · 19/06/2020 15:02

I’ve bought the boots own brand too x

Fingerscrossed11 · 19/06/2020 15:03

How many packs are you buying?

I think after so long, nighttime sanitary towels can be used instead.

I've heard that the boots ones are quite thin? Not sure how many to get, just had so many people say double if not triple how many you think you need! 🙈

I had the lilets ones. They have wings!

I got some off amazon. Abena premium

OlivejuiceU2 · 19/06/2020 16:05

I’ve got some really thick ones from Tesco and thinner from Boots. Hoping they are both OK.

Natracare maternity pads are good, very soft and not plasticky. I've just had DD3 and used I think 4 or 5 boxes of 10 before switching to thinner pads.

I really liked Asda ones. Real cheap and for some strange reason, compared to others felt cleaner with them 🙃
Also tried Tesco and Boots.

I've got the boots ones and also their disposable pants. They go together and fit perfectly. Figured it would be easier to put in the hospital bag and discard when used etc.
