When do you worry about movements?

Hi ladies

I'm 34 weeks. My lady is super active.
She's currently in breech position.
Some days I feel her movements aren't as strong and she possibly doesn't move quite as much.
However she does still move around a lot.

Should this be of concern ? She moves well over the 10 movements per hour. I'm assuming it's very much a positional issue as to intensity of the movements ?

I am a real worrier and I currently do nothing because of covid situation so feel I do have a lot of time on my hands and probably worry more about movements than maybe I should.

If you are worried just ring the hospital. They will see you to make sure everything is ok. It’s always best to check. X

I'm a few weeks behind you and feel the same - I'm on furlough so I think being at home with not loads to do makes the overthinking worse! I have movements throughout the day so not worried about lack of movements so much but it's more that he doesn't have a pattern, everytime I think he is starting one it changes. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow so going to ask her about the pattern as surely once 30 weeks plus he should have one? I also get the odd quieter days but still feel him move just not as strong and think that's down to my anterior placenta.

Obviously if you are really worried speak to your midwife.

The tracking movements thing is an utter nightmare! I worried all day yesterday, baby barely moved in the morning, so in the afternoon I did the lying on my side eating something sweet thing. In fact I did it three times, and all three times felt some movement so I didn't call in. By 8 o'clock she was bouncing around as normal. Today she has been moving around as normal again. I was quite busy and on my feet a lot more than normal yesterday, which apparently can rock them to sleep so I wondered if that might have been the reason.

If you are at all worried I would honestly just call up - I went in three weeks ago and the midwife said she would always rather see you and have it be nothing, than the other way round. I get what you mean about overthinking though, I can't help but wonder if I would be as anxious if I were at work as normal!
