Job interview

I have a job interview on Wednesday, it's working within the same hospital that I already work at but in a different department, same job title slightly different role.
So I already knew I was pregnant when I applied although only early stages, there was nowhere on the application for me to give any sort of indication that I'm expecting not that I think it matters right now anyway.
So my 12 week scan is Thursday (I had one on the 10th but was dated as 10+6 rather than the 12+3 initially worked out with LMP etc) anywho found out I was having twins. This is my second pregnancy and although still early I am beginning to show I little with the contribution of bloat at various times through the day. My question I guess is, do I need to tell them at the interview that I am pregnant and how far gone or is it not actually a legal requirement until I am a little further along? Similar thing happened with my first pregnancy but I had already interviewed and offered the job when I found out I was pregnant and being healthcare on a ward they may have needed to do risk assessment etc.
Now if I don't HAVE to tell them legally I worry that guilt will overrode me because at this job in interviewing for I have worked within the department a lot before Covid shut down all outpatient departments so I had to go back to the wards. So I know the staff and the department sister really well and get on really well, so if not legally obligated to I feel like I'd have to for my own piece of mind and to make sure they knew the score from the start. OR do I interview without saying anything and then speak to the sister separately after without the HR people being involved in that conversation?
I'm so lost and just looking for advice/what anyone else would do in this situation. Many thanks.

Because you are already working for them I would tell them even though you don't legally have to. They know your work ethos and record and would likely appreciate some honesty.

Legally, you don't have to do a thing until 6 months (I believe, but check this). In addition, they can not ask you or hold a suspicion against your applicancy. However, do you think you will be able to fulfil the full remit of the role in the time right up until you leave and they get mat cover - and can they even cover your leave? If the answer is no, you are really leaving them in the lurch, and they may not love you long term for it. In a brand new role, I would ask, could you even pass the probation? I would also not bipass HR. They are well prepped on these things, and my experience is, they tend to take it better and more professionally than line managers do.
Good luck for the scan anyway. I would say do what is the least stress on your mind and body because twins is going to be a lot!!

Thank you @cabbageking I hadn't thought of that really.
Thank you @beingajen definitely would be able to fulfill the role much better than if I was to continue to work on the wards as wards are excessively heavy where as this role is more admin and chaperoning for patient/consultant examinations etc and basically the person who calls your name when you go to a hospital appointment lol much lighter work with the opportunity to sit down when I need to. With my first pregnancy working on the wards I ended up signed off by the gp a month before I was due to start Mat leave as the weight of the ward work was too much.
I think I'm just going to make them all aware when I attend the interview and they can go from there then I guess. I'm only on the bank for ward work so I shouldn't imagine I'll get much work there when they find out I'm pregnant as the wards won't want me which then poses a different set of issues all together 😕.. thank you I for your replies 😊
