When to talk to Midwife about sickness?

Hi guys,
Last couple days my sickness has really ramped up - no meals I am just eating are staying down. I am keeping fluids down (consumed when not eating!) no problem so I am not dehydrated.
Should I contact my midwife or shall I let it pass? The thing I am concerned about is that not getting much in the way of nutrients.
Thanks in advance :)

Bypass the midwife and go to the GP. They can prescribe you anti sickness medicine. My midwife could only advise eating dry crackers and ginger. Absolutely no help at all!!

You should talk to someone soon. If you are only keeping water down then your electrolytes will get out of balance and you will get worse. If you can keep most liquids down, then try drinking milk, lucozade sport, chicken broth etc. See if something is ice cold, room temp or hot makes a difference to your ability to stomach it. Try and drink something with some calories/salts/nutrition

Have you tried the sea bands - pressure on the acupuncture points on your wrists.

Have you tried smelling lemon or mint essential oils on a hankie

I used to eat in a warm bath with classical music playing, for some reason it was the only place I could eat and not heave. I think it was because my nausea was some how related to sensory overload

I had HG for the whole of my pregnancy and my doctor said to just keep up the fluids, so I lived off Covent Garden tomato soup, ice lollies and strangely sausage rolls until I found the right anti sickness tablets for me. As a pp said, bypass the midwife and speak to a doctor soon.
