Baby and placenta position

Hello
My 20 week scan went great everything measuring as it should and healthy baby.
On my notes it states she's in the frank breech position, is this normal? Do they normally turn by full term?!
I feel like I always have to find something to worry about.
I'm also 19+5 with an anterior placenta so only felt the odd flutter which I'm panicking about.
Could i get some reassurance on the above?
TIA XXX

Your baby is still tiny at 20 weeks and will be doing cartwheels in your belly for a while before they get too big to move so don't worry about baby's position. You still have 20 weeks remember 🥰
I don't have an anterior placenta but my SIL did and she didn't feel my believe kick for quite a while. I think she was around 24-25 weeks and it was only when she was in certain positions.

@lockdownpregnancy Thank you for replying. I'm just a worrier and because I've had my scan I now have to find something else to worry about now, I'm backwards haha!
Let's hope baby moves and here's to hoping these kicks come in the next couple of weeks xxx

Baby's position only becomes a problem if they haven't turned head down by 37 weeks so plenty of time for you.....your tiny baby could turn another 10 tines between now and then.

And don't worry about movements....i have an anterior placenta and felt nothing at all until over 22 weeks.

@sel2223 thank you Smile I think you commented on a previous post of mine about movement which really reassured me, but here I am again...worrying! Xxx

Another one here who's baby was breech at 20 weeks and now at 35 weeks is happily head down. Good luck with the pregnancy OP and hope your mind has been eased Flowers

I wouldn't worry at all if I were you Op.
My dd1 was head down from 25 weeks and stayed there, but dd2 was a wiggler. I was fighting my corner to avoid a C-section from 35 weeks. Every time I saw the midwife she was head down, a week later when I saw the consultant (older mum) she'd be breech or transverse. I used to feel her flip all the time but the consultant didn't believe me and said that the midwife couldn't tell properly as she was just feeling and not looking at a live picture on a scan machine. At 39+ they decided she had to be turned and I spent the whole day in maternity in the end. When I arrived they said head down but would get Dr to confirm, she flipped, Dr said head down would definately need turning. I said it was pointless as she was swimming like a goldfish. They said baby's don't do that at 39 weeks. He got called away to an emergency in theatre came back an hour later and she was head down. They scanned to check, he was very surprised and agreed to let me go home... Baby continued to fill for another 2 weeks and was induced eventulalyy at 42 weeks. Head down, 4 hour labour, no problems, healthy 7lb 3oz girl who continued to wiggle quite happily ever since. She's 3.5 now 😍
