Im only ten weeks pregnant, but already finding it hard to get comfy. I never experienced this with my first pg, but now, when im lying on the sofa at night, im thrashing around trying to get comfy, and at night the same, although its worse in bed, as i cant sleep facing my dp. I hate facing people in bed, yes, i have a way of making him feel great about himself, dont i?
Why does this happen? Its so strange.
Also, why do i keep gettig pins and needles in the ball of my foot?
Also(yep another question) im ten weeks pg tomorrow, and i was just wondering if anybody knew the chances of miscarriage at this point? I am so sorry if this brings up any kind of bad memories for people, that is absolutely not my intention. I just wanted tp put my mind at rest.
Thanks peeps.

I think the chance of miscarriage at 10 weeks is only 10% (7 weeks when the heartbeat can be seen is the biggest milestone and any time after that its greatly reduced)

Not sure about the pins and needles - would tell your midwife at your check.

I was very uncomfortable during my pregnancy -think everyone is though! I used a v pillow alot, I put it under my bump and through my legs at night which worked great for me.

I hope it gets better though as it will be a long time otherwise!!

Can reccommend a pillow between the knees when laying on your side. It was the only way I could get comfortable in bed. Also, are you hot in bed? I thrash around when I am hot.

You don't by any chance have Restless Leg Syndrome, do you? It is difficult to describe but you just have to move your legs around and it is something that used to drive me a bit potty in pregnancy.

Not sure what the solution is. I think in extreme cases you can take tranquillisers (some people get it when not pregnant). Some say it is a the result of anaemia (sp?) so I would have a word with your midwife.

Try googling Rest Leg Syndrome and hopefully it will describe it better than I can!

Aah, I used to have RLS when I was little, ad Im aneamic, but it doesnt seem to be like that. My legs only feel like that when Im sat, cross legged, which is understandable.
