I wouldn't probably take the risk myself...
I think the policy for most theme parks are to recommend that pregnant women don't go on rides unless they are tame ones (like the tea cup ride) You are still in the early days too, and probably going upside down isn't ideal for your blood pressure. Also Imagine if you get bumped in the tummy...I think most M/w would advise you not to.

If I were you, I may try giving the park a telephone call and ask them what they think. I am sure I have visited a theme park that had warnings on some of the rides, but I can't remember where it was as it was a long time ago.

Before I found out I was pregnant with my first dd, I went to a theme park with my dp and went on nearly all the rides, including the big ones. On the way home we stopped for a meal, during which I started to feel quite ill. After that, it was a couple of months later I found out that I was pregnant whilst there and did not know at the time.

(I did not find out I was pregnant until quite late into the pregnancy)

It's not worth risking it.

definately not. When preg with ds3 was told by hospital i wasnt pregnant even though 15 home pregnacy tests sais i was and he was my 7th pregnancy so i knew i was. Any way i was getting married and went to maldive on honeymoona nd wanted to go diving if i really wasnt preg. My midwife was adamant iwas nt and told me to go diving.

But something was nt right so i never went diving and when we got home went for a scan and i was 14 weeks pregnant. If i had gone diving i would have lost my ds.

i can go diving anytime but my son is a once in a life time special.

dont go on the rides please its not worth the risk.

if youre going somewhere reputable (e.g. alton towers) they will have guidlines for each ride. IIRC most are unsuitable for pg women but you may get to go on a couple.

I certainly wouldnt risk going on the ones that advise not to

I wouldn't take the risk.

Sounds like a sure-fire bet to bring on morning sickness - that is, if you don't have it already!

hello ladies, i do have all day sickness most of the time! so we decided to go shopping instead!! much better idea

thanks

Almost all fairground and theme park rides, including the very basic children's rides, say not recommended for pregnant women.
