Can any one who works for the NHS help me?

I recently came back from maternity leave- I’ve been back at work for around 2 months. I work for the NHS. I have found out I’m about 10 weeks pregnant Blush . I was just wondering if anyone who works for the NHS knows if I will be entitled to full OMP and SMP- I will be working all throughout pregnancy.

Any info would be great!

How long have you worked for the nhs? I thought they gave mat pay to anyone with over 12 months service, so if you've accumulated more than 12 months in tour post before the second pregnancy then you're entitled to their mat leave pay. Your trust will have a policy you can probably find online though, I know I can google my trusts policy xx

So as long as you have done your time before first pregnancy (so if you received mat pay girl nhs with first) you only have to go can for 12 weeks this can be worked annual leave or on sick to them get full maternity leave again! So seen as your only 10 weeks you will be easily in these numbers aslong as you were entitled with first preg! I'm currently on mat leave going back October have 7 weeks annual leave so will be end dec whej I go bacn and with looks I'll be 7 months preg then! But will only have to work 5 weeks as my annual leave counts for 7 hope this makes sense xd

Thanks both of you! Yes I’ve worked for about 6 years for the trust so should be all good- phew! Smile

Yeah you'll totally be fine then it goes by length of tine you've worked for them and as long as your back for 3 months before the next baby you'll qualify again xx
