Bleeding, infection or miscarriage

I'm around 6 weeks pregnant (so 4 weeks since conception) and noticed pink tinged discharge after sex this morning. Sex itself felt uncomfortable and it's since become apparent that I have thrush I think.

I'm not sure what to do re continuing the pregnancy which is a whole other thread but I've never miscarried before and wondering what's more likely and if it was mc, is that how it starts? Or if the 'friction' has caused irritation..

I tested with a leftover test to see if it was faint, it was darker than the control line but I don't know how long it takes to change.

Hoping this makes enough sense to read, I'm extremely tired!

I had a big bleed at about 28 weeks I got up from a nap and felt a gush and it was bright red. I was really scared but it turned out it was thrush! I had no symptoms at all.
Your very early days and I've never miscarried but I would say that it could be thrush. I think you can get tests now over the counter to check. Hope this helps!

@Cotswoldmama thanks for replying, I don't have any doubt that I have thrush (which is really annoying in itself) but I know bleeding can be a sign of miscarriage and wasn't sure what else to look out for!

I probably haven't been much help then! I think it is fairly normal to have some bleeding or discharge early on although I personally never have. I think In most cases a miscarriage would also come with some cramping but as I've said I've not experienced it and some people can miscarry without knowing.

That's true, everyone is different I suppose. I've had mild cramping ever since AF was due anyway but I remember that from previous pregnancies.
