Have I missed anything? Also, can anyone recommend maternity pads? I hate the ones I used before, felt like a inch thick nappy in my knickers 😑

I would take two different size clothes I was expecting an average baby estimated weight 6lb 5 and he came a tiny 5lb 11 and nothing fit him x

Colpermin peppermint capsules for referred trapped wind pain shoulder - not uncommon after c-section. Cartons of juice might be ideal as they have a straw so much easier to drink after a section as you struggle to sit up properly. I froze some and they were still cold by the teatime on the day of my section. Also a laxative to help you along. They may give you lactulose but I took my own in as lactulose did nothing for me.

I agree with pp, I brought all "first size or newborn" outfits and baby was 10lb 1oz and DH had to run out and buy bigger sizes

Extra long charging cable
Sleep pillow and feeding pillow
Hand held fan
Eye mask and ear plugs

Breakfast snacks - midwives would only bring it first morning after c-section, after that I was expected to walk down a long hallway - too far for me to manage alone, whilst either pushing my baby in their basket and holding my food tray, or leave baby completely unattended in private room for an unknown duration whilst I walked very slowly holding the wall and queued for food 😠 so yeah I didn't get breakfasts a few days until visiting hours started

I'd take atleast 3 outfits for baby and a mix of sizes as you don't know how long you may be in afterwards, ofcourse aim is to get you out asap but it's best to be prepared for a longer stay. I was in for about 5 days after my last CS, with the current covid stuff I'm not sure you'll be able to get more things dropped off very easily.

Shampoo? body wash? Towel? Flannel?
Nipple cream/bum cream?

I'd also suggest taking a few snacks, they forgot my evening meal after my last birth so had to send my partner to the onsite M&S to get me sandwiches. This time as I'm having an ELCS I wont be able to eat before so I know I'll probably be ravenous afterwards. And ofcourse unable to leave the ward under covid rules.

Love the extra long charging cable suggestion! Would of never thought of that!
Also hadn't thought about taking in stuff for the deferred pain and laxatives! Brilliant. Thank you ladies.
And freezing the drink! So glad I posted on here!

If anyone thinks of anything else please comment! We packed when my waters went with my last so trying to be prepared just incase as like you said unlikely to be able to drop stuff in easily with covid19 going on.
