I think I'm starting to get pelvic girdle pain 😩
My hips have been hurting for a few weeks now but it's slowly getting worse.

I am 33 weeks tomorrow
Does anyone have any tips of easing it?

I also have pelvic pain I'm 34 weeks and at my last scan 32 weeks baby was head down and that week it had been more uncomfortable then before my consultant is aware, as due to me being run over as a teenager I broke my pelvis and it the side I broke that aches me but I've never had a problem with the pelvis before with my other 2 pregnancy but they was in my 20s I'm not late 30s. My consultant has told me to just keep an eye if it becomes really painful then to contact him, but I'm not having to take any pain relief it's just an ache and a stiffness when I
need to move my leg but some days are better then others day.

Have you informed your consultant or midwife? My sister in law had to wear the belt and have crutches as she couldn't walk at all the closer her due date arrived

I've also been told to rest my leg and have it elevated as much as possible when resting

I'm the same with just the one side it hurts on and baby is also head down.
I'm
Hoping it doesn't get any worse, I'm definitely not at the stage where I need crutches or support so maybe I'm just being a Mard arse 😆
I put a hot water bottle on the side that hurts and that helped but can't leave it on for too long because of baby.

I also find it hard in the middle of the night having to sleep on my side so when I sleep on the side I get the pain my leg is even harder to move as it's completely dead

My physio friend says exercises are the only thing that will help (and a support belt if you need it). Ask your midwife - my hospital has suspended their physio for this unless it's really bad but they should be able to give you some exercises to do.

And pillow between knees at night!
