You can take Lactulose.

I rang my GP after suffering for 2-3 weeks and they prescribed Laxido over the phone.

Loads of water, fibre rich food and put your feet on a step when you go to the toilet.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one, I'm 14 weeks now and it's getting worse! 😢😢 xxx

Lots of water and take a shot of prune juice every day :)

Lactulose every day, glycerin suppositories for when it gets really bad and keep your fibre/water intake high. Raspberries are especially good, jacket potatoes with baked beans, bran flakes, aim for at least 30g of fibre a day with a good 2l of water.

I have IBS before pregnancy anyway. The game changer for constipation for me was a smoothie every morning. Banana, apple, kiwi and some frozen pineapple. I would dump four large tablespoons of natural bran in as well. I haven’t had constipation since 🙈 and I try and drink 2l of water a day xx

Lots of water
Fibre rich diet
Fresh vegetables
Prune juice if you can stomach it!
If these fail then your GP can prescribe laxatives

I ate three or four prunes everyday and plenty of water, also carried on after giving birth because it helped keep things moving and I was bloody scared of pooping after pushing my baby out! I had no stitches or anything but everything feels strange down there for a while!
