Hi lovely pregnant ladies,

How many months did it take you to conceive your first? I only really want to know if it was more than one cycle because that ship has sailed my friends...

Thanks

Eleven months for my first, one month for my second, four months for my third and last.

3 years and an IVF cycle.
80% conceive naturally within a year.
95% conceive naturally within two years.

ScarfLadysBag · 30/04/2020 15:09

Conceived on fifth cycle!

BlueGreenYellowRed · 30/04/2020 15:11

6 months, I was 32

4amWitchingHour · 30/04/2020 15:12

9th cycle, 33, no fertility issues, just how long it happened to take

wfhmummy2b · 30/04/2020 15:17

Fourth cycle for me, currently 17 weeks pregnant. Good luck!

Emmaaa1990 · 30/04/2020 15:45

Conceived on second cycle :)

YouBringLightInToADarkPlace · 30/04/2020 15:55

48 months for DC1 (no medical issues detected), 1 month for DC2 🤷‍♀️

Although I think there were underlying thyroid issues which were only detected after my first child was born, started me on thyroxine and it sorted my cycles out.
Don't give up OP, it feels like you'll never get there but you will

Absa · 30/04/2020 16:00

About 4 months for my first, age 33.

Megan2018 · 30/04/2020 16:04

Less than a year but only occasional sex and no cycle tracking, would have been quicker if we’d made some effort I expect!

raindrop83 · 30/04/2020 16:08

15 months, I'm 36, no fertility issues identified...

Superscientist · 30/04/2020 16:29

I came off my contraception in August, I found out we were expecting just before Christmas. My GP said it might take a 3 months to completely shake off my contraception. One stat I read at the time was that each month about 10% of women not taking precautions conceive, I'm not sure how accurate it is but I found it comforting and took pressure off. I had started tracking my cycles and what not but hadn't started synchronising our activities yet.

bedtimebrew · 30/04/2020 16:34

4 years and one IVF

KnobwithaK · 30/04/2020 16:36

One for 1st pregnancy (ended in miscarriage sadly), two for the next (although we kind of messed up the timing of dtd the first month so maybe that should only count as one also 🤷)

Luckystar1 · 30/04/2020 16:42

ineedamiracle2020 · 30/04/2020 16:45

JC084 · 30/04/2020 16:46

About 1 year of 'trying' though not really monitoring my cycle that well, then a further 14 months or so of actually trying 😊
Now 15 weeks with our first ❤️

mouse1234567 · 30/04/2020 16:50

Over 2 years and 2 IVf transfers. I think it is probably very lucky to conceive within 3-6 months.

Best of luck.

happymummy12345 · 30/04/2020 16:51

4 months

zscaler · 30/04/2020 17:30

ChampooPapi · 30/04/2020 17:39

Current pregnancy took 5 months and I'm 33, partner also the same age and we have 2 children together already

nauseaandnipples · 30/04/2020 18:00

2 months with my first and 15 months with my second

CrazyKitkatLady · 30/04/2020 18:36

12 months
Irregular cycles though so was never sure when I was ovulating

Dyra · 30/04/2020 19:02

2 years - Natural, ended in MC
11 months - 1st round of Clomid, successful. Most of that time was spent losing weight to be prescribed the Clomid.

Hoping it happens much quicker for you.
