Hi first time posting, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and am absolutely freaking out about it. It was unplanned as such But it has happened a LOT quicker than I thought, first time and we planned to wait until this pandemic was over. I feel so guilty for not being excited but I just feel anxiety and dread, it’s too soon! Has anyone else felt like this??

I sobbed when I found out I was pregnant and I very much wanted a baby although it was unplanned. Completely normal! I'm 28 weeks and still constantly inbetween panic and excitement, it's a very over whelming time, especially if you're a first time mum (like me). Honestly you just have to ride it out.

I got pregnant the first time of trying three times, and each time was a head fuck. You'd think I'd have been prepared the third time around!

Be kind to yourself, it's a massive deal and the whole global pandemic thing won't help either. I don't know that I ever got as far as excitement Grin but I still love DD and I'm sure the next one will win me over too. Wink

All I felt for the first 2 weeks was terror and dread. I'm now 10 weeks and I think I am very slowly starting to accept it - the constant panic attacks have stopped at least. I'm still a very long way from excitement though.

Thanks all that makes me feel much better, I just want to feel excited and happy, but I think it’s just come at a terrible time! I’m glad some others have felt the same it makes me feel a bit less guilty.

Also does anyone have the BIGGEST fear about having to actually give birth?!
