When (if) did you loose your belly button?

I have an innie, but over the last week it's got really sore and feels bruised (to touch and if I push my stomach out).

I'm 25 weeks and the idea of it "popping" freaks me out.

I have placenta previa and an anterior placenta of that makes any difference.

Do they go back after childbirth or will it forever be out?

I'm 36 weeks and mine hasn't popped. Not sure if it will - it doesn't look like it will but then I could get much bigger if I go over I guess.

I’m 24 weeks and mine is starting to edge closer and closer to popping out and it is freaking me out 😫 I hate belly buttons and I don’t think I can deal with it if mine eventually pops haha!

It just went flat for me both times. After this baby is born I am always fascinated by how deep it looks. 3 weeks PP and currently still amazed 😂

Mine went flat at around 30 weeks I think, it never popped out. I'm 6 months post partum now and it's been back to normal for a while.

I have a deep belly button which is now almost flat. If kind of freaks me out tbh.

I don't think mine has long left (24+2), its almost flat.

Babyshine2020 · 24/04/2020 11:50

I'm glad I'm not the only one it freaks out. Mines gone from nice and round to oval shaped and a lot shallower, but it might not mean to end it seems!Halo

I do find it so weird though..
