Hi all,
I am 6 weeks pregnant and I can’t stop eating! I’m also having bad nausea, feeling very hungover and have stomach aches! Just wondering if anyone else has had this, this early on?
Thank you 😘

Yes, I'm 6 weeks and exactly the same, the only time I don't really feel sick is when I'm eating! I put on 5 stone with my last pregnancy though so I'm really trying to eat more fruit and veg etc rather than crisps 🙊

I'm so glad someone else is the same! It's awful isn't it, I did go out and buy some healthier snacks but all I really want is chocolate and crisps! Did you have the hungover feeling too? X

With my last pregnancy I really wanted carbs all the time, I put on sooo much weight. But my thinking is its the only time where you can eat what you want and not feel bad!

@N12345625 haha yes definitely, I'm making the most of this 😋

I was eating tonnes at 5-6 weeks, literally couldn't stop! I'm now 8 weeks and back to normal.

A hangover is exactly how I described it to my partner. I just felt so sick, dizzy and just wanted to sleep all day! It went when I was 14 weeks pregnant. So hopefully it'll be the same for you too.
I am now pregnant (11 weeks) with number 2 and luckily haven't felt sick during this pregnancy... Although still eating lots 😂😂

Lil28 · 20/04/2020 20:32

I feel like no one warned me about any of this 😂 however I wouldn't change it for the world, I've wanted this for so long!
Did you ladies feel anxious? I'm feeling so worried about the whole pregnancy. We have paid for an early scan to try and stop my worrying I just can't help it 😞 I'm crying every day too 🙈 xx

I was like this at 6 weeks. Constantly eating from waking up to going to sleep!

peachypetite · 20/04/2020 21:13

I did and then spent week seven feeling horrendous all day nausea so enjoy it while it lasts! Just make sure you’re eating lots of healthy snacks :)

Yes constant hangover without the fun the night before 🤣 I know, I feel bad complaining about it but it's such a horrible feeling isn't it. I had an early scan Saturday at 6+1 but heartbeat wasn't there yet, all measuring correctly though so she wasn't worried, but I've now booked another for 8 weeks as I need to know everything is ok and see a heartbeat. I already have a 10 and 7 year old and I can remember not relaxing the whole pregnancy out of worry so I'm adamant once I'm 12 weeks I'm just going to enjoy this one xx

Yes I'm 18 weeks and have been like this with both pregnancies, I get a ravenous hunger that makes me want to cry! I'm slim (size 6-8) but with my first I put on at least 3 and a half stone. It subsided during the second trimester and came back a bit in the third. I also found eating a big breakfast in the morning helped with my nausea so basically all I did was eat.
I did lose all the weight in the first nine months and DS was only 6 pounds, but I think I put a lot of pressure on myself to do so. This time round I'll take my time

KitKatKit · 21/04/2020 08:27

Yep sounds about right! I ate loads of carbs and cheese from week 5 to week 12 ish because I found that small bites every so often helped keep the nausea down. I'm now week 14 and have eased off a bit so dont stress, just do what you need to to ease the nausea.
I did read that a carb with a small amount of dairy/protein helps manage nausea better, so try one or two crackers with a smidge of cheddar.
That did seem to help me a lot. Good luck!
