Tall dad - big baby?!

Dp and I are probably going to try for a baby next year (as long as it’s calmed down by then!!) and I’ve just panicked myself at the potential size of currently imaginary baby.

Dp is 6ft8 and I’m 5ft4. Dd (not dp’s) was 6lb11 at birth and tore me to ribbons, so I’m being put off the idea of a whopper before we’ve even got started.

I like the idea of baby growing to the size of my womb rather than dp’s size! I keep having visions of the sonography saying ‘bloody hell that baby is 3 foot tall already!’

Encouraging words, thank you. Dd is 3.5 now, but I can still very vividly remember the tearing sensation when she came out, and I’m not in a hurry to repeat that, or the recovery!
