Help I'm 33 weeks and think my waters have gone

This is my second. This happened with my first baby. I'm sat here alone, with my 3 year old asleep and I think my waters have gone. I am terrified because of what happened last time. I can feel the baby moving around at the moment. I don't want to go through what I went through last time. I really hope I'm wrong and my waters haven't gone. Writing this is calming me down, I was shaking a moment ago.
Basically I woke up with a bit of wet knickers and I was really really hot. I thought it was a bit of sweat then thought maybe the baby pressed on my bladder as I slept. As I was so aware of it, I sat up and suddenly I felt a bit of water come out, just a little, just like last time when my daughter was born prematurely at 34 weeks via emergency section.
I don't know what I want to gain from writing this, husband is away on night shifts and I suppose I'm just really scared and hoping I'm wrong. Please be wrong!!

You can do this OP! You've been here before, you are super strong, you will be in safe hands at the hospital.
We are all thinking of you x

Both mine have been prem at that gestation and i dreaded having to do it again. Its hard. With my 1st my waters definitely went no questions but with my second I had my bloody show and the night before I had her i had a small gush that never happened again. I knew it was waters and waited a few hours before calling it in seeing if it would happen again. Good luck xx

Op i hope you are doing well. My dc was also premature at 31 weeks, my water broke too. Scbu is really tough but you have done this before and you can do it all again. Take care x

Thank you for your support and advice. It really helped me get through this
So I went into hospital as requested after you all encouraged me to ring the labour ward and I started having contractions. The baby's heart rate kept dropping so after hearing my options I opted for an emergency section that afternoon. This was less risky but from experience by no means the easy option. Thanks to CV husband wasn't allowed in. It was bloody horrible and they gave me ketamine as I was so uncomfortable with all the pushing and pulling. I couldn't feel the pain but could feel them yanking and snipping away. The drug took me to Japan to a weird manga style land. I've never been so off my face before. Little girl born healthy and well before being taken to SCBU. Unlike last time there was no intervention required and she's breathing on her own. She's a much better weight than my first born too. I'm so relieved! The care has been excellent and although the section was bloody awful I'm in far less pain than last time. I'm hoping I recover swiftly and she has a good night. I think my body just has a pregnancy cut off point at 34 weeks! Confused thanks everyone again you've all been brilliant and just what I needed.

Congratulations on your baby OP I hope all is well and continued to go well
It did make me laugh your description of where ketamine took you 🤣 I had tramadol after one of my babies and found myself entering a tunnel on the ceiling that lead to a flowery room 🤣🤣🤣

Chester6 · 20/04/2020 08:02

Massive congratulations @mamalicious3030. That's wonderful news! I hope you can all go home soon and enjoy being a family. Can I ask, is she on neonatal at the moment and if so, what is your hospitals policy on visiting please? Also, I know some hospitals are allowing a partner in still for caesarians. Was there any particular reason why you couldn't have yours in or was it just policy in your area? Sorry for the questions...I'm due to have a baby soon, potentially early because of a pregnancy complication and just wondered about these things. Many thanks and congratulations again x
