Hi guys! I have a large filling in one of my back teeth which has fallen out and is causing mild pain. Do you think I should call the dentist as an emergency? I've read online you have to be careful with tooth decay and infection. Would prefer to avoid it in lockdown but would appreciate your advice. 26weeks pregnant!

I don’t think they’re that likely to see you. They’re only seeing people in severe pain with serious problems in new dental hubs.

I’d call your dentist or 111 for advice. They might suggest purchasing a DIY filling kit from boots to do short term fix on it.

You can phone, I have read they are only seeing emergency cases & I did read somewhere that, if needed they could remove teeth, but they can’t do anything that requires drilling as that is an aerosol generating procedure.

Phone the practice, there will probably be a recorded message giving a number to call to discuss your issue.
