I'm a first timer, 24 weeks. I've had all my scans etc up to date and have a low risk pregnancy. I have not heard about anymore appointments.
I am absolutely fine with this, but I just wondered when else would people normally be seen? A friend said to me I should have a few more appointments with a midwife but haven't heard anything about this yet.
Like I say this isn't a complaint whatsoever, I fully appreciate I will potentially have less appointments, I just wondered what the norm was.
Thanks

Here's a useful website that shows what the various midwife appointments are (or at least would be in normal times): www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/antenatal-appointment-schedule/

Unfortunately midwife appointments have been stripped right back. I'm 38 weeks and haven't seen a midwife since 36 weeks and not sure if I will see another before birth. Sad

You'd normally have an appointment at 25 weeks if it's your first baby, then again at 28 weeks. It may be worth chasing up.

I’m surprised that you weren’t booked for a 25 week appointment when you had your 16 week one; or maybe it’s just my area that book you in when you are there?

As already said normally you’d have one next week but in my area the 25 week one is cancelled. Perhaps ring your midwife to arrange a 28 week appointment and get confirmation on what will happen for the 25 week one ?

I’ve just had my 28 week appointment and my 32 week appointment is booked as normal

@birdy1991 must be completely different where I am as I didn't have a 16 week either! Just had a booking, bloods and scan done at 12 and then my 20 week scan. My midwife has called me for a quick chat and to give me her info but thats been it so far.
I'll drop her a message and ask if 25 week appt is happening, thanks everyone.

They're cancelling the 25 week scan unless medically necessary unfortunately. The RCOG have up to date guidance on this page, the one relating to scans is under antenatal care.
