Told to enjoy/cherish pregnancy - how?

I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me what this seemingly common piece of advice actually means??

I'm not disliking my pregnancy (now the nausea has gone, anyway!), but I'm not really sure what I'm meant to be doing to cherish it?

Perhaps it's lockdown - we only started telling people after our first scan, which was the day after pregnant women were put into the higher risk category, so haven't seen anyone to celebrate with.

Would love some explanation as I can't work out if I'm doing something wrong! Thanks.

Nah. It's your experience. For me, pregnancy is endured not enjoyed. Some people just adore it though (they tend to be the ones waited on and spoiled IME, though some people just get all warm and fuzzy about it and cherish it because of that).

Don't worry about it. Get through it as best you can and don't pressure yourself with ideas of how you 'should' be feeling.

I love being pregnant in spite of it making me feel rubbish. I know what it’s leading to. I’m not waited on and spoilt though. I’m very capable of doing everything within reason at the moment.

I am being spoilt to the highest degree and still find it relatively difficult to endure. I am grateful I'm pregnant, but my non-pregnant body was more comfortable, hence sometimes I'm struggling. But nevertheless I am grateful every single second for being pregnant.
