Hi,

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the thread. I'm struggling to find newborn size clothes and low tog sleeping bags. Due in 6 weeks and it's the last few key things I need. I have looked on lots of websites (Sainsbury, peacocks, Matalan, etc) but it all seems to be sold out in the smaller sizes. Does anyone have any suggestions of where else to look?

I even tried in store at Sainsbury's tonight and nothing. Worried I'm gonna have a starkers newborn 🤣

Hi ,I’m same as you due in 5 weeks and struggling badly to find newborn baby grows and vests! Didn’t get many as never found out sex and didn’t expect to struggle to find anything, I looked everywhere for low tog sleep bags, I got mine on eBay the proper growbag brand a twin pack for £45 which is good, good luck with your baby, sure your as anxious as me giving birth during this time😬x

@Lemonysherbet I've also had trouble finding clothes in stock online anything 0-3 months is hard to find I've got a few bits but not as much as I would like I just keep checking every few days but it does seem supermarkets are not restocking as there busy keeping the shelf's stocked

I thought that newborns weren't supposed to go in sleeping bags? Happy to be corrected!

Lemonysherbet · 13/04/2020 23:45

@Shinynewcoin from what I read as long as their head doesn't fit through the neck opening so they can't slip down then sleeping bags are fine :)

Sleeping bags have a minimum weight you can use them from. For Gro bags it’s 8lbs 13oz

Cool, it's been a while for me, something just rung a bell! Congrats op, hope all goes well

Lemonysherbet · 14/04/2020 00:27

Thank you :)

And thanks everyone for the help. Feeling a little less disorganised now that I've got a couple of items ordered

I haven’t struggled at all. H&M are still delivering and have everything in stock, I’ve also bought things from independent stores which are still delivering.

Tommee Tippee sell the original Grobag and they appear to have all sizes and togs in stock.
