So I have Been back n forth with medical advice to work now and eventually work have deemed its not safe for me to be there...... So i haven't provided a sick note as I'm not sick..... So now as they have placed me off what is my actual entitlement.... Will it be ssp or normal pay?

I think that depends on your company. Ive been given 4 weeks full pay and then it will be ssp. Hoping that in 4 weeks it will be safe enough for me to go back though. I was given the choice of carrying on or having time off. Oh very much wanted me at home and safer so went with that.

Would probably depend on the company. Before lock down I was told I could not come to work but would only get SSP if I chose to isolate. Now all our stores in the UK are closed, I've been furloughed so getting 80% of my normal pay.

Ask them?

If your company is open as normal, and have placed you on leave because they cannot keep you safe/cannot offer you an alternative position then it should be full pay. If they’ve had to furlough you or close due to corona, it will be different, but not ssp as youre not sick and cant claim ssp!

Theres a Facebook page called pregnant then screwed who has posted alot recently about pregnancy rights during coronavirus. It might be worth looking at that as it has all the latest government guidance on what women and employers should be doing

I have seen on Martin Lewis, and other sites / articles. That if you can’t work because you are pregnant and it is deemed not safe, and you are unable to work from home. The company should furlough you, and put you on 80% pay.

My work done a risk assessment and deemed it unsafe and sent all pregnant employees home on maternity suspension, on full pay until they can arrange working from home

My work is only paying SSP, I should be entitled to company maternity pay (full pay for 20 days as have been there over 5 years) but it’s ‘company policy during the coronavirus’ that anyone off sick due to the outbreak is only entitled to SSP.

I was actually happy because their initial stance was that it was my choice not to be in direct contact with 200+ people daily (no alternative positions available) handling money and being within about 2 foot of everyone. So they said I would have to take unpaid leave!
