Clear weekly indicator pregnancy test says 2-3 weeks. Confused

Hi everyone. I hope you’re all doing well.

I did a clear blue test for the first time today and it came up 2-3 weeks. That would be 2-3 weeks since conception right? My cycle is normally around 30/31 days although last month it was the longest it’s ever been at 33.

The first day of my period was the 13 if this month. I have five whole days until my next expected period. 2-3 weeks from conception would be considered 4-5 weeks pregnant. But how can I be that far along when there’s still five days left until my 30/31 day cycle finishes?

Sorry if the answer is really obvious I’m just really confused.

Hello everyone
I need some advice from you all. I’m literally freaking out as I’m suspecting I might be having a miscarriage so it would be helpful to hear your views and opinions. This is my second pregnancy and according to the date of my last period I should be 6 weeks today. However a few things are happening that are really alarming: 1) I have no clear pregnancy symptoms (which I had with my first pregnancy) 2) I started spotting yesterday and it’s very light but ongoing 3) a few days ago my clear blue test still showed 2-3 weeks when I was expecting it to be 3+

I got in touch with health professional but due to the covid crisis services are really slowed down. I will hopefully know one way or the other soon but I find myself wondering / is there any point in even hoping for a good outcome here? Any thought would be much appreciated

Hi,

I had intercourse with my partner 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I have just taken 3 pregnancy tests. The first one was a cheap on and it had one strong line and the pregnancy line was faint. So I went and got 2 clear blue tests. The first one said pregnant 2-3 weeks and the second said pregnant 1-2 weeks.
Is this normal?
Am I definitely pregnant?
No one knows and I am scared to tell my partner as I know he doesn’t want another and this wasn’t planned.
Any advice and help would be appreciated xx

Oneandabean · 25/01/2021 19:52

@Ronnie1988 yes you are definitely pregnant and yes it’s normal. The second test would be more diluted so that’s why it’s saying less. The clear blue work from conception so that’s about right. Midwives will still work it out from last period so you’d be about 4 weeks pregnant with them.
The only advice I can give is to talk to your partner or someone you trust.

So 2-3 weeks on clear blue mean you conceived more that two weeks ago right

I know this is an old thread but wondering if anyone can help!….

Had period this month (June) from 7th-13th as normal - proper flow and heavy day 1-4. Then it stopped and randomly started again on 16th right through to 20th June - fairly light this time.

Anyway. Today I just randomly took a pregnancy test even though it would be way too early to know (only 5dpo) and to my shock a cheap test came up positive. So then I tried a Superdrug early response and the line showed up instantly. So I went out to buy a clear blue that tells how many weeks…and it’s come back 2-3wks?! I’m SO confused. This means 2-3wks from conception right?! (Which could only be a max of 10 days ago as we only had sex on 14th and again on 20th after random extra period days?!

My dates the previous month for period was 13th-18th May and we had sex a few times between 19th-25th. Which would mean over the 2-3wks it’s saying.

How is it even possible to be pregnant after such a heavy period that went on for longer than normal???

Can anyone help? Any ideas?!

Iv had 2 miscarriages (Oct last year and Jan this year) but have 2 girls already…. worried that maybe this month was a miscarriage again and I still have hormone in my bloods? But did a pregnancy test on 6th June day before period started and it was a BFN. So what the hell?!

Any help appreciated before I contact doc on Monday. TIA

Clear Blue is from conception and not the way the medical industry classifies it, i.e 4-5 weeks. E.g when I took it it was 2-3 weeks, meaning I had ovulated around 2 weeks before and become pregnant.

HELP!!!!!!!

So I need some advice I had unprotected sex on November 12 just a drunken hook up from the bar a few days after my period and he never finished in me and then on the 16 and 17 of nov I had sex with Jim the guy I’ve been seeing and he did finish inside me about 4 times in those 2 days and I was also ovulating according to my app, but It is now dec 3rd and I got a positive pregnancy test saying 2-3 weeks and I’m just confused on how I got it so soon and what are the chances on who would be the father???

Jasmine2323 · 06/01/2022 00:41

I took a clear blue test an it says 2-3 but I just wanted to know if I’m 2-3weeks pregnant or not because other people are telling me I’m 4-5weeks can someone please help me?

PJC94 · 05/02/2022 09:56

Hello, hope you are well.

I took a clearblue test with weeks and got a 3+ then couple days later got 2-3, tested again 4 days later and still 2-3. LMP was 21/12/21.

Can anyone give me some advice. I don't think I used the tests with the morning urine on any of them. Would this make a massive difference? Do you think my HCG levels are too high possibly?

Thank you x

Hi all, just wanted to come on here and give an updated view of clear blue- since I had been searching like a frantic woman.

I am 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant, and due to a previous MMC at 9 weeks, and just a general hard time getting pregnant, I have been testing, and retesting like a mad person. I KNOW, I KNOW!

Clearblue gave me a 3+ first thing Sunday morning, I then came across a spare test yesterday and thought may as well use it, and it gave a 2-3 result (midday test) I was distraught… spent the whole night googling, convinced it was all over and today I retested, midday again, and it’s 3+ again!

So in short, and it’s easier said than done.. once you have tested positive, just step away from the tests, and book an ultrasound! It really isn’t worth the stress!

Lxm12345 · 17/02/2022 15:13

I know exactly how this feels, miserable. Hope everything turned out ok for you x

Clear weekly indicator pregnancy test says 2-3 weeks. Confused
Batbatbatty · 20/11/2022 13:21

@Colletteedden however many weeks it is since the first day of your last period, that's how many weeks you are.

Colletteedden · 20/11/2022 15:34

10th of October 2022

Colletteedden · 20/11/2022 15:35

It is about 5weeks

Would love an update on this OP! 😊

Got the instructions out of the bin and it says 2-3 weeks means you conceived 2-3 weeks ago but are considered 4-5 weeks pregnant.

So it's from 1st Jan I think.

It can't be from between 7-14th November which is the last time I had sex before the sex on 1st Jan.

It's troubling because I am having a termination and if it's the longer one it will be a horrible experience.
