Twin vbac?

Any experiences of this?
I had an emcs in Nov 2017 following a failed induction. Dd1 was in distress and I was rushed to theatre in quite a chaotic fashion!

Current plan is elcs on 22 April but I am wondering about a vbac for 2 reasons: the fastest recovery (out of hospital the same day and easier recovery at home) and the potential for having future children (I know 3 sections is normally the limit).

Has anyone had a vbac with twins? I am seeing my consultant on Thursday so will also ask her.

I don't think it's a hard and fast limit more guidelines on not having too many c sections. However agree having a major operation then twins will be tough

I have neither twins nor had a c section but I probably wouldn't want a vaginal bith with twins ever tbh

One thing to consider, this happened to my friend.
She had a natural birth for her first twin, then the second twin had to be delivered by CSection because his umbilical cord was too short for a natural delivery.
I do know someone who successful had natural for both twins but one thing I'm not sure I could handle was having to recover from both types of birth at once!
Planned sections are very different to emergency, they are much calmer and more positive. Plus from everyone I've spoken to they recovered quicker from the planned sections. (Including my midwife)
I only know this as I'm having a planned on 5 weeks after an emergency one 2.5 years ago.
Although I am only having one baby!
Congratulations and good luck whatever you decide Thanks

@strawberry2017 ah that is a good point. Twin A is head down and engaged but B is transverse, so there is every possibility that I would end up having a natural delivery for A and then a c section anyway for B....

So difficult to know what to do!

If I'm honest if I was having twins I would 100% choose a section because then I would know what to expect.
But that's partly because I also had a failed induction with my first and felt so out of control that I believe a section gives me the control back.
